2012 Ford Focus
Ford has redesigned the Ford Focus for 2012 and it is already available. It is available in a sedan or hatchback. It is available as the S Sedan, SE Sedan, SE 5-Door, SEL Sedan, SEL 5-Door, Titanium Sedan, or Titanium 5-Door. Ford has updated the interior and exterior and made it more fun to drive. Ford has loaded up the 2012 Focus with entertainment features and luxury items.
The S Sedan comes with a 2.0L Ti-VCT direct injection 14 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission that gets 26 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. It has 15 inch steel wheels with wheel covers and a folding rear bench seat with three removable head restraints. It also features a keyless entry keypad, remote start system, AM/FM single-disc CD player, MP3 capable, four speakers, audio input jack, and speed-sensitive volume control. The SE Sedan is similar, but includes Exclusive MyKey® owner controls and has the option of getting SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system and SIRUS satellite radio. The SE 5-Door is similar to the SE Sedan, but includes a rear spoiler.
The SEL Sedan has great fuel economy and gets 26 mpg city and 37 mpg highway. It has a 6-speed PowerShift™ automatic transmission with SelectShift™ capability. It comes with 16 inch painted aluminum wheels, dual zone electronic automatic temperature control, and SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system. The SEL 5-Door is similar, and includes MyFord Driver Connect technology.
The Titanium Sedan and 5-Door are similar and both have a 6-speed PowerShift™ automatic transmission with SelectShift™ capability. They both have 17 inch port aluminum wheels, dual zone electronic temperature control, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system, sport-tuned suspension, MyFord Touch™, and HD radio.
The 2012 Ford Focus is also packed with industry first technology features. The 2012 Focus has active grille shutters that improve the aerodynamic performance by cutting drag up to 7.8 percent, helping to reduce fuel consumption. The Ford Focus has an available Parking Technology package that come with a rear view camera, front parking sensors and Active Park Assist. Unlike other systems that use imaging devices, Ford's Active Park Assist uses ultrasonic seniors. Once activated, the Focus will parallel park itself with almost no input from the driver.
